Michael
Voted for the first time today Was tempted by the greens, but thought on the whole the Lib Dems are a lot better. I just hope the BNP and Ukip don't get too many seats...

unlinkedstudent
OOPS Just woke up. Better get dem skates on.bwoy!!! Sugar, I fell asleep at 5.30pm after a stressful day liaising with bank and solicitor re settlement day tomorrow (last minute hitches re property purchase in Shetland). Woke up, watched Eastenders, had a chinese takeaway, fell back to sleep and just woke up. I couldn't vote earlier in the day as I work from home and amongst liaising with Solicitor, getting work done, etc., had one of me dogs deciding to puff his eyes up and throw his coat (Shar Pei don't respond well when they moult and 'mimic' Shar Pei Fever), followed by puking on the floor. Stressful day here? You bet! Annoyed I didn't vote? Yes, as women died so the likes of me could get the vote. Damn, and I was soooo looking forward to quizzing the parties outside the polling station here in East London their views on wind power, fishing quotas, etc. Hang me head in shame. Talpa
I went to vote yesterday oops guess I suffer with premature ELECTION ha ha ha.... chuckle guffaw giggle and shetlink - you rock...this topic was just started today and has had 432 views so far. Whatever folk think and do, agree on and disagree on, it's just jolly spendid that there is thinking (and doing?) going on.
JAStewart
I ended up finding the place. The turnout will be low. My flatmate didn't vote much to my complaints.
Fjool
We were out over to Levenwick this evening. Very quiet in the polling station, but the village was sunny.
Talpa
We were out over to Levenwick this evening. Very quiet in the polling station, but the village was sunny. They usually have a sign out on the road but not today I only knew where to go due to voting there in the past, a bit cryptic. Two observations about Levenwick Hall - when it's foggy in the ness put out a 'duck's crossing' sign just about there, and many years ago I went to an inflatable planetarium in Levenwick Hall - it was SO cool, anyone know what happened to it????
