A games console has been stolen from a three-year-old girl as she played with it in the garden of a Leicester house. Police said the "frightening experience" happened on Milnroy Road in Thurnby Lodge on Monday. After being left on her own for a time, the girl came inside to say two boys had taken the pink Nintendo DS machine. Officers said the girl had been left distressed but since she could provide little information, it was important witnesses came forward. Pc James Thomas said: "This was a very frightening experience for the girl, and very concerning for her parents, and we're appealing for help from the public to help us find the boys responsible.
