Fjool
The BBC are not reporting his death. He's certainly seriously ill, however.

sassermaet
Yep - definitely, everyone's saying it now. Even the Beeb.

breeksy
I'm not sure if I heard right, I hope I'm wrong, but I think the female newscaster on Sky has just said that the most important people now are his fans. I mean, WTF??? I hope I heard wrong.
sassermaet
The way the Beeb reported it reminded me of the night Diana Princess of Wales died - BBC World coverage of that equally massive event can be found on YouTube, which incidentally has also crashed, along with Twitter and Facebook
Gaboh
Whatever way it's really sad!!
Para Handy
Apparently he's in a coma. His new hit single The way the Beeb reported it reminded me of the night Diana Princess of Wales died - BBC World coverage of that equally massive event can be found on YouTube, which incidentally has also crashed, along with Twitter and Facebook I quite agree sassermaet. Now there will be all the same silly hysterical nonsense. As if he was the US equivalent to Diana Princess of Wales and the JFK thing back in November 1963
Spinner72
^^ Well Kennedy was the president, and he was assasinated, so a media frenzy is completely justified there. To a lesser degree, Diana was a major public figure who did a lot for various charities and died in arguably suspicious circumstances. In this case its one of the hundreds of generic 80's pop stars with an unhealthy addiction to plastic surgery and a dodgy legal history. I seriously doubt many of todays youngsters will even have known he was a musician. There will be a press conference shortly, according to Sky What on earth can there possibly be to have a press conference about? "Michael Jackson was pronounced dead a few minutes ago... Er, any questions?" "What happened to him?" "He died" silence......
sassermaet
This is about the only site I can get to work tonight, since the rest have a bigger user database and are all cracking under the pressure...even Sickipedia's gone under.
