Hollywood plans turkey tale movie

At first John Ure thought the offer of a Hollywood contract was a joke

The story of a woman who was stranded by snow for a month after she popped out to buy a Christmas turkey could be made into a Hollywood film.

A company has bought the rights to the story of Kay Ure, who lives with husband John in Cape Wrath, in the extreme north west of Scotland.

Mrs Ure set out on 19 December to go to Inverness to buy festive food, but was unable to return home for 30 days.

Movie company Furst Films offered the couple £40,000 for their story.

Lorry shunt motorway footage sparks probe

I just love the thought that the trucker was unaware he had a Clio stuck to his bumper.

Driving along, sipping his coffee, thumbing through a magazine, singing along to lady Gaga on the radio at 55mph.

You can't beat a bit of real horsepower. :thmbsup

On March 14, Winston left four cars -- two of them Chattanooga police patrol vehicles -- with flat tires and at least one missing bumper because of his aggression

Chattanooga City Judge Sherry Paty said she will drop the citation for Winston being a "potentially dangerous dog" after six months if training is successful and no other problems occur.

Watch those little dog tails wag as they rip a car to pieces.

^ That's absurd! Type an gobbledegook into a search engine and it will be a proper noun somewhere in the world. Scrabble was difficult enough against any true aficionado of the game due their devious lists of obscure technical terms and archaic language as it was, now it'll just be a case of putting any letters anywhere and then arguing about it. Rubbish!

(not that I've played it in about 15 years, but it is still wrong! )
