2lb_saucermeat
How the hell am I supposed to know who is a man and who is a woman here? I thought Shetlandpeat was a girl, seems I was wrong. I thought MJ was a guy, seems I was wrong too. and someone thought I was a guy. This is way too confusing! Thats funny because its true! I was speaking to someone who I thought was a guy through PM for ages about a specific topic. Turns out this person was a girl! I won't mention the topic as I didn't let on to her I thought this. Sha
Maybe we should always just ask: "ahm sorry just to clarify for myself: male or female?" http://www2.glamour.de/glamour/glamunity/forum/images/smiles/icon_mrgreen.gif

Sha
Thing is why should one's sex/gender matter on a forum? Why not? Personally I appreciate knowing to whom I'm talking, at least irrevlevant details such as sex, approx. age, could avoid some confusion. But I guess turning this question into feminsim/anti-feminism/chauvinistic matter/essential/non-essential matter is much more interessant.. KOYAANISQATSI
How the hell am I supposed to know who is a man and who is a woman here? I had the same problem myself a while back with one known as abraxas.I thought I was dealing with a chick who fancied me. One thing led to another and I fell head over heels; only to find out that not only was it a bloke and perhaps also a different species but he was already involved in a full on relationship with lord Satan. I still cry about it sometimes http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/sad/sad0047.gif

Personally I appreciate knowing to whom I'm talking, at least irrevlevant details such as sex, approx. age, could avoid some confusion. But why should it matter? Why label someone before you learn anything about them?Working with teenagers I've met some who've had more life experience than many I know more than twice their age. When it come to sex, social stereo types no longer govern people's every day lives, gender is something you can adopt to suit the individual not what it says on the birth certificate.I personally hate being stuck in to tick box categories. People make assumptions. But I'm going to stop my rant as my thumbs are getting sore from texting on a phone.
