John Shuttleworth - Shetland Film

Recommended Posts

I don't like him that much really, I know John Shuttleworth was explaining about Shetland and the people there but I didn't really enjoy it much. I believe he stole Harry Hill's glasses  but in conclusion, boring and incomprehensible on what he's trying to explain, although I saw it twice or three times.

i bought the dvd, and i have to admit, i did enjoy it. It was so silly, but i think thats just the way you have to look at it. Some shetlinkers said it was taking the p*ss out of shetland, but i don't see that it was. He's just a comedian with a very dry form of humour. :)

Still, i do understand that this form of humour isn't everyones cup of tea :)

Just watched the DVD and found it very funny. Recommended to anybody with a sense of humour.

Don't get it how anybody could of been offended by it. Makes fun of his character more than anything else. Puts Shetland in a pretty good light I think.

Can anyone guess the Official Car of the TriBeCa Film Festival?

Give you a hint.. you'd be surprised to find gets about 9-mpg and all the VIP & Hollywood-types shuttled around Manhattan in about 30 of them... would rather pretend they're a little closer to being Green, this close after Earth Day.

Just been loaned this by a neighbour who heard we were moving to Shetland.

We thought it was hilarious  , showed Shetland as a great place with a sense of humour. How anyone can think he's taking the P out of anyone but himself is beyond me

I'll tell you what, I've seen more of Shetland in this programme than in all the others I've looked for on Shetland and I loved the fiddle music too 8)
