Does anybody mind the ice cream thing in the plastic cone with the ball of bubblegum at the bottom? They were good too.

Called "highballs" when I was selling them from an ice cream van some time ago. Mosy parents hated the dammed things but kids loved them.

They always made me think of something inadvertantly dipped in hairspray or perfume :?

Re: "hellsbells" what's an "mb bar"?

Re: drew_peacock. Cabana's were fantastic! I'd forgotten about them. They were the first thing that ever made me eat coconut and like it.

Re:lumpsucker, Penguins were the size of a video cassette too, if you ask any one over 50

Am a big fan of penny sweeties, 2pence fizzy cola bottles from the late eighties, fizzy fish, flying saucers, 2pence fangs, banana shapes, astro belts. At 60 North Youth Club you used to be able to help yourself to these sweeties. "how much is in the bag?" the youth leader would ask, 30 pences worth would be the reply.
