Njugle
Best have a care in the Loch of Strom then, sea trout (and perhaps salmon) will be out of season now and I would expect to find them in Strom. Otherwise anything is fair game really. Look for some deep water to try for Lyries, great sport fish, fight hard and you'll find ones up to and maybe over 5lb if you persevere. Tasty when smoked. Otherwise , it depends where you are fishing: flukes(various species of), piltocks, maybe an olick if you're lucky, maybe a stray mackerel. I'd recommend finding a deep water spot, between the tides. michael_balmain
How deep is deep ..I can manage a dive of 15 meters Cheers for the advice One will defo be avoiding any sea trout salmon.. sadly its illegal to spearfish for them. Odd since it really is the most sustainable form of fishing there is,
