Njugle
Nice name dropping Brynne! Anyone out there see and enjoy Nathan Barley or did you find it, as I did, a bit too metropolitan? Well, that's today's name dropping shouted from the rooftops. Who we doin' tomorrow? Oh yeah, Desmond Dekker . . . Wish I hadn't stopped smokin. I'd forgotten all about Nathan Barley. That series had me sucked right in, i hated it, and i was enthralled by it. The whole "Rise of the idiots" thing was so completely true and rightly portrayed that it had an air of observational comedy genius, but then it would p**s me off, the following week i'd be gagging for more. I still refer to the whole idea in my head from time to time. Desmond Dekker? Nah? You are kidding right?
Antsy
Hilarious, the Nanageddon episode is a classic, especially the shaman council bit. You can get the original radio series on cd, its great too.
