Colin5524
Would anyone be interested in trying equipment. Young or old men or women. We have a fair amount of equipment and im thinking of building some lighter equipment so anyone can try and see if they are intrested. Also looking to try and get a few more shetlanders to compete in orkney next year.

Colin5524
Well there is a few pieces of equipment at the scalloway gym, and i have stones, tyres, farmers walk, logs and a few heavy akward objects. The plan was to make lighter equipment so novices can have a go dependant on demand,
Longdog
I might be interested in helping out if there's a need, spotting or supporting in other ways. I'd love to do it but have health issues just now that would make it certainly impossible to compete, not that I'm a strong man anyway an full of injuries Was working witha super slow HIT rountine a while back (just once a week) but it along with other stuff slung me back into a relapse of my ME. Enjoyed deadlifts etc and was doing 110kg over about 1.43 minutes with out touching earth on DL, like I said no strong man. Kev
Colin5524
HIT is quite good, i like to do that type of routines to get a break from the heavy stuff and give the tendons a bit of a rest
