LOL @ JeemsieJ, must be the mods Christmas party tonight.

Jeemsie - I think you'll find your not even allowed to think such things in Shetland any more let alone stick them on a public forum - regardless how much truth there may be in it

If there's a knock on your door tonight you'd best not answer it

The only thing missing is the robbers a sawing of shotgun and a bag with swag writing on it.

It was the Rev Green, with the lead piping in the town hall ect

And along came the Judean Nostra? A bullet to the kneecaps or a buried in a fly over at the new Anderson High School and hey presto the loan slips were found to be lost.

How can the council ever ask for money from people with rent arrears or the council tax, they have just lost the moral high ground, And behind closed doors. Roll one trouser leg up a funny hand shake, show us your nipples job done then Now we know the real reason for The Blueprint for Education

And school closures.

....so this is the same Jan Riise who's a crony of Mr Clarks ???

Interesting idea. Not quite how I would have described him.

... I suppose if Mr Riise had had a backbone and wasnt such a damp sponge ...

Do you know him? I think not, or you'd not describe him in such a manner. There are quite a few ahead of Jan when it comes to being spineless.

^^ Aye, and don't forget the income they took from the business during the decade or so it traded as a result of being in possession of the shed, or the however many months rent Hodge did pay at, what was it, £5000/mnt?!?

Overall, a nice little earner if the shed is now sold at the going rate. Kushti! Just need to wangle something with the old North Road shed now, and we'll be millionaires.

Our public representatives and their hired help have been thoroughly out-maneuvered, and outclassed on this one.

£400,000 in the pocket is a great reason to become a councillor.

Maybe that's not the reason, and I have no doubt that the Bressay folk thought she was the best person for the job, but it looks like that could have been part of the reason for Ms Miller becoming a councillor in the first place.

Or am I the only one who thinks that?
