m.stewart
Why dont people use their real names on Shetlink. Am I missing something?
JAStewart
Hi dad. It does annoy me too, but in Shetland where reputations are everything, it seems, I guess people who would be getting money from the council don't want the council to read that "Joe Bloggs thinks that the council is ". Maybe a related question: Why did you read Shetlink for so long before registering? You never know who's reading your posts...

Guest Anonymous
In all honesty, I respect those who, like myself use their correct name. But can you just imagine the absolute hell that would be let loose if the real identity of some posters was to become known. If the fact that Trout is actually a real person came to light, it could destroy the trout farming industry. If it was ever revealed that Njugle was a water fairy, (oops, that' already been corrected somewhere) ..... Or if ******* was actually a CE (I won't go there) Let's face it, in Shetland everybody knows who everybody is, or can easily find out. But, onywye, blyde ta hae dee on board, and blyde da buy keeked dy muckle sphincter inta comin here.
