Graeme_Storey
This week, and next week, I am the one who is updating the Shetland News website, so until Monday 13th December I will copy all school/college closure notices here in case any of you are not on the Shetland News mailing list. ll
It has been possible for some time now to sign up to a free text message and email service with regards to Shetland ferry information updates. It would seem logical to implement a similar scheme with regards to school closure information. I would assume texts can also be sent to landlines as per from mobile phones. This would allow anyone signed up to receive instant information as soon as official decisions are made.

MJ
This week, and next week, I am the one who is updating the Shetland News website... Is this the reason why my email tae Hans bounced?
Graeme_Storey
The email address hans@shetland-news.co.uk is still being collected and forwarded to Pete Bevington who is doing the stories just now. No reason why it should have bounced, that I am aware of. If you send it to me at graeme@force10.co.uk then I can forward it, but make sure you mark it for forwarding to Hans. Graeme_Storey
Hans will be updating the Shetland News website for the next few days, so don't expect extra info here as I don't think he has a Shetlink account.

SnowFlake
was surprised to see there was no school closures today... considering the road conditions are worse than when they did close the schools last week. I put mine in... but if it starts to snow ill be going and taking home early.
