This has been occupying me of late, it seems that every time I walk up Sauchiehall Street, I see at least one person who's the spitting image of a Shetlander of my aquaintance.

 

Does this reflect a deep seated yearning for the familiar or, in the words of Fatboy Slim does "Everybody look the same"?

 

Regardless, for exampele, there's a boy who works in Tesco in Greenock who looks like Davey Gardner's older fatter brother.
