Twerto
once you ahve your avatar made up.. go to the profiles section . scroll down to the bottom. and then click the browse button.. and select the fiel you want to be your avatar from where you saved it to.. and click ok and the forum will upload it to there database. these are the sizes you need to keep it within Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 96 pixels, the height no greater than 96 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB. and try my personal tip would be to stay away from moving avatars as they have a tendency of eatign up forum bandwidth.. ( no idea what this forums bandwidth cap is tho.. so might not be a problem )

Anyway ... anyone that had chosen an avatar out of the "avatar" library will now have no picture against their username ... 'cos it's been turned off *cough* ... as it shouldn't *cough* have been *cough*... Sooooo ... short and small .... upload a picture ... and you're away.... job's a good eeen!! moo. sassermaet
I do wish that the site could resize avatars though - it would make life a bit easier. Pleeeeeeeeease? Just since it's Christmas?

Fjool
I cannot vouch for its efficacy, but the following might do the trick.http://www.netmechanic.com/GIFBot/optimize-graphic.htm Alternatively there are other tools which you can download to do a similar job. 'The GIMP', for example: http://www.gimp.org/

Pooks
If you want to post it on here then I am sure somebody would be able to resize it for you.
Ghostrider
If use a photo hosting site, they have free to use resizers, or da Photo Bucket een does anyway. It does a pretty good job as regards maintaining quality as well, at least when compared to my 10+ year old version of Paint Shop anyway....
