Shetlink page views & stats

Recommended Posts

It's a big day for Shetlink! Today we hit 1/2 million page views (see statistics here), and the 250th member has signed up since our launch on Christmas day 2005. And we've nearly hit 10,000 posts (we're 189 short as I write this. If you get posting, we can hit 10,000 today!)

On behalf of the Shetlink team, I'd like to extend my thanks to you all for your help in building the Shetlink community

Trout, Njugle, McFly and myself have spent many hundreds of hours between us developing the Shetlink site, which has all been worth it to see the community develop and thrive

It's been a steep learning curve but a great experience, although I'm not sure i would do it again!

All the best and thanks again, Bryan Peterson (site admin)

P.S. Trout, Njugle and McFly. A special thanks to you 3. Your help and support is truely appreciated. I owe you a night on the town, if we ever actually meet in person again! (I think I remember what you look like)

P.P.S. Shetlinkers! If you want to buy us a pint, use the Paypal donate button at the bottom left

My productivity at work has roughly halved since i got into this Shetlink malarkey. Mind you, nobody seems to have noticed, so it can't have been that high to begin with...

Keep up the good work guys. :)

PS Trout - I have a vague recollection of chatting with you in the burger van line up over the Easter holidays, or was that a booze induced hallucination?

Just noticed that the most users ever online here at Shetlink at one time has shot up to a massive 74 and it happened the other night at 12:48am on Sunday morning to be exact. That's a bit weird isn't it? Why so many people logging on then? Was there a webchat with Njugle or something at that time that nobody told me about?! :)
