nederlander
Anybody know if the Bank of Scotland is open on a Saturday?
Spinner72
It used to be open untill 1 or 2 pm, but the systems weren't "live", by that I mean it was basically just for deposits and withdrawls. That may have changed now though, last time I was in would have been last summer.
Noodeyn
It's definately not open anymore on Saturdays, none of them are, there's not enough business to justify it.

GypsyScy
No, Bank of Scotland is not open on a Saturday, which is a pain in the backside if you work from home all week and usually get paid on a Friday!!!
MJ
None of the banks are open on a saturday anymore, depending on your bank/account/card you can use the post office for basic banking (withdrawls/deposits) phone your bank's call centre to find out which services you can use at the PO (post offices are normally open till 12.30pm or 1pm on a saturday)

MJ
Thank Zeus for internet banking and ATM's (you can make deposits via the night safe) ATMs are great if you bide in town, but to pay £2.95 to take out a tenner? You can use most (but not all) cards in a post office like you would an ATM without the £2.95 charge. Is it the one at the Toll Clock that charges £2-95? I could possibly understand an out of town machine levying a charge, perhaps, but not one in the town and at the only shopping centre!
