A Day Off School - Student Film Shot in South Mainland

Hi,

 

Back in March, I travelled up from London with an actress and a small film crew and shot a 10 minute piece of fiction on the beach and cliffs surrounding Scousburgh in the South Mainland. The film also includes two talented children from the local area, who really did a magnificent job.

 

I was helped and supported so much by Shetland based companies, businesses and the community, and now that the film is finally ready I would love to show it to as many people as possible. Plus, I want to promote Shetland as not just a great place for Simon King to shoot nature documentaries, but also a uniquely cinematic backdrop that captures and oozes mood, drama, and atmosphere.
