The policy seems fine, but had a thought this morning regarding the Excess. They do £60 plus 10%, which with a large claim would fairly mount up. daveh Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 For our 13-year-old cat, we are now paying about £22 per month to Pet Plan despite only having made one claim of a few hundred pounds, about 10 years ago. The premium has increased each year, from about £5 monthly, and no other pet insurer will cover him due to his age now. I have thought about cancelling and putting the monthly amount into a separate bank account but it would be sods law that he falls ill soon afterwards. It all seems a big con to me.
