Jerry_Dammers
STV have stuck an old Grampian documentary from 1973 online. Don't know if anyone here remembers it from when it was first broadcast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JIQTCoJ5Rc
MuckleJoannie
Grampian wasn't available at the time of broadcast, it only came in 1976. The programme has an interesting analysis of the Shetland economic boom of the 1960's, which came from fish and woollen manufacturing. The success of these industries at the time was one of the reasons for opposing oil developments.
EM
Some interesting UHA footage too (1:10 to 3:13). Both the senior and junior processions and burnings from 1962. Also very rare footage of my old galley (5:23 to 5:30) which I had moored at the south end .
