wally jumblat
A small wishlist from me... Probably possible: Primal Scream, Richard Thompson, Lunasa, Frigg, Elana James, Maceo Parker, Jools Holland + Orchestra, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, Chip Taylor + Carrie Rodriguez, JP Cormier. Highly unlikely: James Brown, Captain Beefheart, Bob Dylan, The Stone Roses,
Marvin
I would like to see The Scissor Sisters play in Shetland, I think they are the best newish band on the go. Way too big and they have an entourage of about 20.
turrifield
Try probing Four Poofs And A Piano you might get somewhere with them but the Scissor Sisters forget it, no way.
JAStewart
Captain Beefheart I thought that he was dead? But yeah, his music is psychy.
McFly
The great Captain Beefheart is still very much alive, allthough the chances of getting him to play are slim to none. The Magic Band still tour from time to time though.

JAStewart
Amphetameanies Me and Jono had them coming up for a gig on the 15th July, but the entire band were off to see Madness on the 13th in Berlin, so they couldn't make it. Neither could Bombskare!!

Mini
Semi realistically... Biffy Clyro again?RoadstarStonegard (they're relatively unknown and from Norway, that's not too far away... ) Wouldn't mind seeing Little Green Machine on the old rock during the summer too... Ally
U2, REM, OASIS, Rolling Stones.... all playing at the new cinema / music venue I heard, providing it gets built. Apparently Bill Gates has invested $$$ in re-animating the corpses of John Lennon & George Harrison, with a view to sponsoring a Beatles reunion gig to coincide with the launch of Windows Vista. NIRVANA are also in talks with Mr Gates & Mr Gardener to headline the event, but they are having difficulty with the restoration of Kurt's... head. Sorry. Meanwhile, back on earth… I think that you could probably get Ian Brown up again. In fact, pretty much and mid-size band/performer(s) that play the likes of usher hall, the barrowlands ect are probably attainable.

trout
Awright Ally, It mightna be such a weird thing then to get Oasis up to the new CMV with a bit of persuasion?! They played the Usher Hall on the 15th May last year - by all accounts I don't think it was sold out either?
Distortio
get dem futureheads up ere. or don caballero, that'd be magic! the postal service, plaid, tour-tet, Dntel, don't have many members so could be more viable as there won't be transport, accommodation and equipment for 7 people to consider. and they're not tribute bands.
