banzai Posted September 12, 2010 Report Share Posted September 12, 2010 hi planted new grass seed around may,there isna just a massive ammount o weeds but was thinking to try some o that wee and feed stuff to see if it would help the grass come on a bit better,,is it an ok time o year for that? and have been told by someone the grass will not be mature enough for it? pretty clueless on this so any help would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
momo Posted September 24, 2010 Report Share Posted September 24, 2010 Would stick to an autumn lawn feed at this time of year to help the grass toughen up & out compete the weeds. If its still looking weedy at the start of next summer then go for the weed & feed but be sure not to put on more than the recomended dose or it will blacken the grass.
