Longdog
Have looked but couldn't find this so... What's the best way of sending large/heavy items from Shetland (I'm thinking guitar amp/guitars ort of sizes), will the P.O. do it via parcel farce or am I best to use a courier? Any advice appreciated Kev
Romeo
I'd recommend Shetland Transport, even if you only want it to go to Aberdeen and then be collected but a courier from there. They'll collect it from your house.
Guest posiedon
I've never sent anything large or heavy to the mainland but have had plenty of same delivered from the mainland, I always use Shetland transport, friendly, accommodating, and reasonable. lerwick
I have used the post office royal mail, they take up to 30kg quite good value too.
daveh
I can also recommend Shetland Transport. However, depending upon where you want the item delivered, you could also contact Ian Reid Removals who may be able to take your item the whole way for you.
