DizzyKipper
Isn't it great how fast they change?
Ghostrider
Do they? Apart from acquiring an ever increasing collection of varied black rubber skid marks, I can't say I'd noticed.
Twerto
If they havent been used in awhile then they change almost instantly.. but if they have been just used, there is a time delay.
MuckleJoannie
The one on the Esplanade seem to work every time as soon as it is pressed, but then it's probably the busiest in Lerwick.
insouciant
Not surprising since the only pedestrian crossings in Lerwick that has sensors mounted atop the lights to check for traffic are the ones next to the Clickimin?
DizzyKipper
well it's great not to have to wait by the side of the road for ages being soaked by passing vehicles... Big plus over down south
crofter-amy
I mind when they were first put in and they took so long you would see a couple of gaps in the traffic before the changed. I would often cross before the lights and then felt bad for the poor folk in their cars having to stop for nobody. Much better now for all concerned IMHO
