Ally
Glue? I think I had this problem before - just get some sand paper and roughen up the zips teeth a bit. I think it works, but don't quote me on that...

Njugle
^ ^ The thing that usually keeps a zip up is a small ratchet tooth inside the zipper. Normally when you lift the pull tab it disengages the tooth, allowing the zip to open/close. Normally when the tab is flat this tooth will be lodged between the teeth of the zip. So, your problem may well be a hardware issue in the zipper mechanism, trapped fluff, broken tab or similar. Either that or you've bought really cheap jeans that were doomed from the start (i do this too, no snobbery!) or of course your jeans are old and the ratchet tooth is worn out. Hae a hock we the mechanism and you'll see what i mean. Sand papering the teeth may well put a new square edge on them that allows the ratchet tooth to grip again, no harm in trying that one, though it may take a bit of sanding!
