GND Records
zebbidy, thats not the attitude needed to spread new music now is it? you have to have enthusiasm and passion for your love of music and sittin on your hands sayin itll never happen will get nothing done. metalca man you look like you understand the need for more of a variety of music. the same old will allways get boring, but it is hard introducing new styles into an already settled community. but that said, whats the harm in trying???? shetlandpeat
there is nothing wrong with a mix of music on popular media. But, drum and bass has been tried on our radio station, yet it never really takes off.The thing I have noticed is that many genres of music covers many facets and overlaps many popular types of music. Sadly, even after all these years, drum and bass has not really gained mainstream popularity.Nothing stopping you trying.

Simple, radio station is open to all, yet there are just 2 shows at the moment. Folk do listen, but not that many. But, we have a DJ or 2 who will play the odd bit. But, for many it is an aquired taste, a bit like "Gentlemans Relish". It is not something I would play on my show, maybe as part of a promo. Your not gonna change much here, I wish you luck up there tho.

No one has ridiculed D & B here, they have given their opinions, asked for by the original poster. Why inflame??
