Moderator appreciation thread

Recommended Posts

Having read through a couple of pages of 'debating' on a currently very intense thread, I was struck by how well the mods (IMHO) were handling it. I thought I'd start a thread for folks who'd like to show their appreciation for the Shetlink Moderators who keep this site running.

Shetlink isn't run by the council or government but by volunteers and their work doesn't go unnoticed by me.

Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

Good job the mods,

Shame about the grammatical error in today's Times

We urge folk to read the debate for themselves before accepting Mr Gair's and uncorroborated claims.
I'm blaming the newspaper not the shetlink mods

Well done to all the admin / mods on here. I was admin on a large forum for a few years and it is a thankless task. A lot of commitment required in both time and cash . You come across some right planks as well on your travels .

Keep up the good work and don't let the planks get you down !!!

A Mod's job is a thankless one I'm sure. Why anybody took it on is a mystery to me, and why those who did keep it, is even more mysterious. Thankfully somebody did, and does though, and it is appreciated. It stops the lunatics from taking over the asylum, despite how much it may seem some of us are trying to do so some days.

An hour or two without a Mod stick wading in to defuse, delete or lock, and this place would cease to exist, so its thanks from me for keeping it that way.
