Shetland14
Has the county football team or training team been picked for this year?
muckletrow
Has the county football team or training team been picked for this year? I believe that Nial Bristow informed the association that he was only available to start training about a month before the county. I think this is a consequence of people asking too much of the county manager and hassling him when out socially. What were fridays scores? penfold
Has the county football team or training team been picked for this year? Niall was looking to name a training squad now shortly and then whittle it down to a named squad nearer the date of the inter-county. He has been watching games when he has had time and has had a few helpers watching other games to help him build a picture of what is available and where those players are at. penfold
^ Not yet it will be named in the weeks before the County game, Niall Bristow has been contacting players that he wishes to attend the training pool.
Shetland14
Thanks Penfold. Just thought they might name the training pool like they did last season.
delboy10
ive heard a few young celtic players are to be selected to attend the trainin squad...those players are connor regan, tom moncrieff, james aitken and robert smith! think its a great credit to the way celtic are running there club unlike some clubs in shetland! also heard craig dinwoodie has been selected too, credit to craig who was thought to be ''finished'' when he left delting. ***MOD EDIT Personal remarks removed*** whoever is representing shetland in the inter county hope we all support them and cheers the lads on because am pretty sure they will beat orkney! whalsa
haha im not sure about that. maybe if Mossbank spent more time playing football and less time arguing with each other they might have got on better!
penfold
whalsay were helped by the ref who was there 11th man the cheating wooble! should never ref again! Its quite simple, if Mossbank or any player, playing for Mossbank have an issue with the performance of an official at a game then they should submit a written complaint to the Association along with a £10 fee detailing their issue's. If the complaint is upheld then they will get the £10 back and if not they forfeit it. Next year you will be on here complaining because your game was off due to no referee, and funnily enough it will be in some way down to your anonymous complaining on here. penfold
Indeed you are, but I was pointing out that the way you chose to express yourself might not have been the best and that there are better ways than complaining on here, like I said if you feel that the standard of the refereeing was that low then complain to the appropiate body and get it addressed. Whilst a lot of folk will have read your post, and seen who the ref was, no one is going to take up the baton for you and sort it out, as you personally are the one expressing the dissatifaction with the quality of the match referee, and are best placed to submit the formal complaint if thats what you and the club wish to do. squidward-tentacles
The referee was always going to get the blame for a poor Mossbank performance against a rather poor Whalsay side. At the end of a game their will always be a desicion the referee made that is disagreed with by either team, just making up poor excuses as to why you lost: teh referee in this case.
