tojo
We are looking to reharl/roughcast our home. Who knows of anyone that is recommended to do this job. We have contacted some of the main names in the yellow pages, but as usual when asking for a quote - 2 months later - we're still waiting! We would like the work done before this semi-nice weather disappears.
ISOT
Tradesmen are usually in high demand especially at this time of year when the weather is 'meant' to turn so you might find it difficult to get a job done in the next 2 or 3 months. Anyway, I think its Manson & Robertson that seem to be doing quite a lot of work round town, pointing, harling etc and there work seems to be very good, not sure about rates but I would give them a go! vadger
Jimmy Niell and Terry Strachan are also good , plenty harlers out there

Kavi Ugl
Have you thought about cladding it in wood instead?. Some time ago I noticed that a brick/harl house in Fogralea had been re-clad in wood and it looks nice. Just a thought.
tojo
We cant clad where we are unfortunately - thinking paintin if need be. We have litereally been trying to get quotes since January! that is only this year, tried last year too. Come October no one would quote as the time of year wasn't suited. Will look up all the names mentioned - fingers crossed
