Guest posiedon Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 A couple of months ago I had an invitation to go down to Kincraig for a weekend meeting (this coming weekend) I wasn't sure if I could make it but checked out the Flybe prices anyway, Out to Inverness was £52 and back to Sumburgh £59, today I found out that I would be able to go so checked Flybe again, outward was now £72 and return £79, OK I thought; I'll book anyway but when I tried to log in they didn't have my current email address so I had to re-register. In the time (5 mins) it took me to re-register the price had gone up to £122 and £177.There are 21 empty seats for the outward leg and 24 for the return journey. Can anybody see any logic in this? How the hell do they set the price of their tickets? Pull them out of a hat? I wont be going; so there will be at least one empty seat that Flybe could have sold for a reasonable price.
