If the library takes a week to send a letter saying it's overdue... and there are no fines to hurry people up, I might have to renew or return mine before I get it. Maybe they should look again at the fines? Not on the mobile service but for the ones who can't be bothered returning them on time. Suzanna Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 I once misplaced a book and took it back 12 months overdue, I found it in a suitcase pocket from my holiday the previous year the library ladies were very nice about it and no fine, I call in every Saturday and often reserve my books online, you can also extend your loan online as well, so no need for anything overdue now. Doubt it shetlandpeat had to renew my car 2 months ago. Pleaseeeeeeee I've reading Phantom really slowly, I need the next one! It's actually one of the series that I asked the library to buy in to make the set complete, and damn me now I want to read it I can't get my hands on it!
