muckleflugga
Needing to resixe a pic from 25M to under 4, any suggestions, tried to download some software, but all riddled with pop ups and nonsense, any help be appreciated
gazb159
To reduce the picture to under 4,I would go into Photoshop, and reduce the whole canvas size.Unless there is an easier way, this is what I would suggest.

EM
panic over, seems an easy task over complicated by windows, job done thoughI am highly intrigued by this conclusion. Could you please explain why Windows makes image resizing complicated?
shetlandpeat
Windows has over complicated many a simple task. I could scan a disk with DOS for errors, now I can only do it through Windows, it won't let me because it is using the HDD and wants to turn off and start again to complete the task. Spinner72
panic over, seems an easy task over complicated by windows, job done though It was a simple task in XP, and some nice people have made a version of the XP resizer powertoy for newer versions of windows, you can find it HERE. (you can resize in the basic paint app in newer versions of windows, hence why it was discontinued) You can also use an image optomizer like the one in the excellent Irfanview to specify a file size as opposed to the guesswork of resizing.
