Kavi Ugl
I just happened to notice today that buried on page 32 of The Shetland Times is a peerie article about a lecture coming up in the Shetland Museum this Thursday by Professor Jørn Sunde of the University of Bergen. The time is 7.30pm(doors open at 7.00pm) and he will discuss "the abolition of foreign laws" in Shetland and Orkney in 1611. It relates to the Scottish Privy Council and the Norse lawbook of Shetland. As mentioned, details can be found on page 32 of The Shetland Times.
