^ Yep catched a glimpse of the tug as she passed Sumburgh Head. Another ship appearing out of the haze this morning returning to your part of the world Muckle Joannie was the Elsi Arrub returning from Norway.

Also another sail power beauty today was the Georg Stage currently tied up in Lerwick. :-

Through the haze last night off Sumburgh Head was the Sea Explorer and today this beauty the Die Drie Gratien was clocking it towards Lerwick.

This beauty, The Vittoria had been anchored up in in Grutness last night but left very early this morning :-

Along way off Sumburgh Head was the Halton on her way up from Orkney today :-

^ Was hoping she would hiv come nearer, looked to be an interesting and sturdy old ship, certainly got a good trip north.

This evening a rather different but better shaped of the cruise ships was the Discovery rounding Sumburgh Head and heading for Faroe :-

For onybody dat doesna ken yon Independence of the Seas is truly huge(225,000 tonnes) and it's very interesting tae see her dis far north and sae close tae Shetland and it makes me wonder how lang it'll be afore she's anchored in Breiwick....

 

Noo, dat would be an invasion!.

After spending all morning at Fair Isle then calling along Mousa in the afternoon this was the Ortelius off Sumburgh Head, a fair bit off. :-

Arriving from Faroe this morning was the Seven Seas Voyager seen here off " Da Holm " and again off " Da Isle " before arriving in Lerwick :-
