DizzyKipper
daveh, I love waking up to snow and having to dig away the snow to get out! It being freezing outside but getting warm from shovelling snow - when the snow is light and fluffy mind! Not so much fun when it's heavy wet snow. Anyway, with the sun out as well and it's all sparkly and nice - I love it. However I don't like the wind much. I never feel safe when it's really windy (>70mph). With the roof rattling and banging and the floors shaking it's like being in a continuous earthquake! I imagine the roof being ripped off and all my stuff flying across the fields... I sleep with earplugs in which helps a bit, but I never ever thought I would be scared of the weather.

DizzyKipper
I'm still here! It's head vs heart. I know the house has been here a good long time, and my head says nothing is going to happen. Doesn't stop me worrying though! I suppose the more winters I spend here the easier it will get...
