Jewson's works out a fraction over 36p per kg and Buildbase(Hays) well seems they have given up selling red flame (antracite) Is the availability of antracite smokeless fuel getting more difficult ? Urabug Posted January 21, 2016 Report Share Posted January 21, 2016 In my opinion nothing can beat the friendly glow and the warmth of a solid fuel fire, and because the air is circulating I think they are far heathier. Your not sitting breathing the same air all the time as most of it goes up the chimney being constantly replaced with fresh air.. Pitty aboot da ess n da stoor !
