Would anyone care to explain why I should pay for a TV licence which funds the BBC when both BBC TV and BBC radio keep cutting out when I am trying to enjoy what I have paid for?. Or in fact what I might have paid for as I am currently having a break from TV but still want to listen to the radio stations that I paid for when I had a licence.

You don't need to pay to listen to the radio.

The TV license covers BBC broadcasting but also maintenance of almost all terrestrial broadcasting equipment. If you're having difficulty viewing you should report it to somebody as it isn't a common issue and should be fixable.

^^

Because you are receiving and watching images as they are broadcasted and have the equipment designed to do that.

It is in the license, even via PeeCee, phone or other device.

The license fee pays for a huge amount of education projects around the country and the globe.

I don't watch TeeVee, rather watch what I want when I want via Iplayer, though you can get caught out with that as that too can stream live broadcast.

Only if you are a moron. The warning text is not particularly difficult to understand:

TV Licensing

Don't forget, to watch TV online as it's being broadcast, you still need to be covered by a TV Licence.

Why should I have a TeeVee license, I have no need of one.

The sad thing is you used to pay a levy on a radio that went to the broadcasters, the few radiograms I had, had a license on the back stating that a proportion of the cost of the radio receiver went to the BBC.

You are obviously paying enough to cover my share. Thanks.

you should pay it because it is your civic duty peat you still watch the programs the bbc make, and of course the money goes on all those lurverly educational projects that you think the rest of us should pay increased taxes for.

It seems you are just blowing hot air out your ass when you say we all have a duty to pay for these things.

typical hypocrite

I would imagine there are some morons around.

Though saying that, and I do not believe they are, a friend of mine takes fines in the local court house, she has said many of the fines are being paid by folk who have not paid the license, she has also said many are single Mums on benefits. It was not that long ago the courts were sending single Mums to prison for not paying for a license.

It is very rare I watch any TeeVee, the last time was about 2 weeks ago.

The work the BBC does in other countries is very good and should be applauded though I do find it odd that someone may buy a license, then spend many times the cost license to a second broadcaster.

single mums on benefits, maybe if they had been watching tv instead of opening their legs without using contraception they could afford the licence.

Why do you think we should feel sorry for someone who has put themselves in the position they are in. and why pray do you think we should be made to pay for their mistakes

Now then, you don't really think that, you are just saying it for effect. Your comments are really a sign that you may not know about the world you live in. Some women have told me that they were watching TeeVee at the time of conception with their man, for stimulation.
