This is a special New Year for me as I am giving up drink and high calorie foods in an attempt to get healthier. May not work but it is worth a try. And I am trying a Vegan diet as a way to combat diabetes. Again it may not work but I reckon if it does I have a good few years of a happy healthy life ahead of me. Of course New Year is not going to be happy for everyone so maybe we could spare a thought for people living in cardboard boxes, people living in war zones and, since it has hit the Shetlink Forums in the past few days, maybe we could spare a thought for abused children everywhere.
