mikeyboy Posted March 10, 2012 Report Share Posted March 10, 2012 I tried to order the wife some flowers on the internet and it appears that universal flowers no longer accept orders for delivery outside ZE1.I have bought flowers from them for years so this must a recent decision.Seems a strange decision in the current economic climate.Too tired tonight but going to mail them in morning.I know there is another florists in town does anybody know if they deliver? I suppose since ZE2 and 3 include places like Fair Isle, I guess they don't want to risk it? For them it would be easier and cheaper just to exclude the postcode. Thats why I was trying to order over the internet. I have ordered in the past for birthdays, anniversaries etc no problem. But not this year.I will see if Stems has a website. I would totally agree with that. We wanted some button holes (2) for the same day, bit of a rush for a cousins wedding. Totally turned down by Universal, Stems (Steven) bent over backwards to get them done and they were fantastic. Now only go there for anniversary flowers.
