Doro Pesh....

Gawd I remember her. Fantastic. Lita Ford was the other rock babe at the time.

Currently:

Nightwish

Anthrax

Megadeth

Exodus

Kreator

Yesterday was an odd day - jazzy folky spanish kinda mood,

Steffan Grapelli and Django Reinhardt

Al Di Meola

The Red Vans (I found a CD Rory gave me years ago)

Stevie Hook (another CD I found in the same box in the loft)

Ed Aleyn Johnson (Tape in the same box. Just a copy, lost the original which I bought off him when he was busking outside the BoS building on commercial street)

I've become addicted to 'Theme Time Radio Hour' - the radio show presented by Bob Dylan. He's a surprisingly excellent DJ, and plays music you won't hear anywhere else - Frank Sinatra followed by some blues guy you've never heard of, followed by Blur - you will love some of it and possibly hate some of it, but it's fantastic listening.

You can download all of the shows from this site:

Cool indeed, you sparked a few memories there A.T. and the unholy Limewire is flowing...

But! I just did a quick 'discog' check and they formed in '84 8O (i was thinking later) and they are still playing and released an album last year....and the year before.....etc. :o

Remarkable!

I ken exactly what you mean!, excellent album

Down - Nola

Another great album, definatly inside my top ten... roll on Down III

I've been listening to Idlewild (the older stuff, never listened to it in ages), The Levelers, Black Label Socitey and Calisto (an excellent Finnish band similar to ISIS and Pelican)

You should give their newest album a try. Roddy seems to have gotten the folky stuff out of his system with his solo album last year. The album is alot more "100 Broken Windows" rather than "Warnings/Promises". You should like it.
