sassermaet
It probably comes as no surprise to those that know me that the first single I ever bought was Steve Harley and Sarah Brightman's rendition of 'Phantom of the Opera', so my opinion has been a little biased for the last couple of decades. That version makes me p*** myself laughing

Ghostrider
^^ Just the single track, or the whole album of the name? Personally I'd go for the whole album, despite there being plenty who swore blind Wendy James couldn't sing for peanuts, they're one of the few 80's bands who IMHO have stood the test of time particularly well. The other that comes to mind right now being T'Pau.
MJ
It got worse. My "friend" bought the bairn Rocky Horror DVD, I used to wake to the Time Warp at 6am. Baby I don't care (also) transvision vamp is playing rather loudly right now.
Kephas4
@ Ghostrider - yup, the whole album. Some of Wendy James' later solo stuff was pretty dire, but Velveteen still stands as a great album. Moved on to Nightwish - Dark Passion Play. JohanofNess
Listening to Amy MacDonald's new album, it's alright not a massive departure from the last one but is worth a listen if you like that kind of thing.
