@ unlinkedstudent: Coffee....coffee....coffee...... nothing but freaking coffee day after day. You need to try a different flavour.... "Irish" slips down much more easily.

Meanwhile, I fancy hearing some oldies:-

I hear told our local grocery emporiums have glass jars available for purchase, bearing such exotic and mystical labels and "Nescafe" and "Maxwell House", that when exchanged for the coin of the realm, may be utilised without the need of a "maker" to create this strange substance referred to as "coffee". All you need is a cup and a kettle, I might find one of each somewhere among all the crap and clutter in this place, *if* enough time is allowed to persue a successful hunt.

Perhaps I'll look later....sometime....too busy assaulting my eardrums with noises that please me right now, to worry about paltry trifles like cups etc though...What is wrong with drinking me tea straight from the teapot anyway?!?

A simple date for the coffee maker's arrival would have sufficed instead of Your waffle above! One has obviously never seen Who Dares Wins comical outake on the Nescafe Gold Blend adverts - if One had, then One would realise that this woman's caffeine requirements could never be satisfied with instant coffee.

A cup? You know that not only do You possess more than one cup but that I have parked my pint mug in Your kitchen and besides, You have a kettle!

Well, who am I to tell You what to do? Just one thing though - don't You DARE mistake Your beard hairs in Your tea as being something else!

Anyway, regardless of the fact that You have failed miserably to advise of said delivery date of Krups coffee maker, I is rather touched by Bon Jovi and so ...

  wanders off to check Seller's comment as to date of despatch of said coffee maker on His eBay account.

I like a bit of Molly Hatchet as well as Blackfoot, The Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and my woman is a huge fan of Blues Traveller (John Popper is probably the greatest harmonica player that's ever lived)

I have a real soft spot for early ZZ Top
