ParrotFletcher Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 It has been brought to my notice on several occassions that certain cafe outlets are using my signature drink "The Dutch White", this is my own recipe and only outlets that use my coffee should be selling the drink. I suppose this is a matter of integrity but for the record it is a compressed milk with a nice round ring of crema on the top making it strong and smooth. It is not a short drink as served in a certain peerie local cafe, that is in fact the doppio macchiato, long on the milk. Knowledge and training are key to perfection, so we can only keep trying. ParrotFletcher Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Having researched the internet there is no official Dutch White coffee other than a reference to a white coffee associated with the dutch company Dowe Egberts and Coffee houses in Holland. The Dutch White is not on the know coffee register and I can assure you having never been to New Zealand I wouldn't know it from there, I came up with the name after drinking non stop well made white coffee in Holland.
