Frances144
If it is any consolation, we discussed this at teatime last night, whilst not eating our Voe pies which are now considered a treat for birthdays/Christmas only. Along with Fish and chips.

BigMouth
It's true that no food is getting cheaper. It's rare that I throw anything away these days.
Ghostrider
£1.70 is a bit steep, when you can buy 1/2 lb sassermaet, sausages or chicken fillet for the same money, and its twice the feed.

Ghostrider
^ Globe sassermaet is £3.36 for a pound, two good meals, their sausages around the same, Scalloway's are slightly cheaper if I mind right. You can buy a bag of four frozen chicken breast fillets for a fiver, turn it in to chicken stew, and its four good feeds. One Voe chicken or steak pie is not much more than a snack, you need 1 1/2 or two be be a decent feed.
