Stunning views of Noss and the North Mouth on that sailing. Plenty of Gannets on Noss and lots of opportunities of flight shots as they flew over the boat.

Stayed out on deck until past Sumburgh Head.

I believe suuusssiiieee is right as there was mention of captain's ticket but couldn't hear the tannoy overly well.

Why has the boat sailed out the North Mooth tonight?

They did it regularly last summer too, good chance for visitors to see the cliffs and birds at Noss on a calm night.

Heimdal has got it spot on... This is the time of year that the Noss cliffs are at their best. Everyone (not just visitors) should make the effort to go and witness the abundant seabird colony on Noss. It is mama nature supreme.

Even worth giving Johnny Wills a couple of quid (it is wir boat onywye) just to enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.
