Flat felt roof repair...?

Anything that will successfully seal a flat felt roof thats quickly, cheaply and easily applied is unlikely to keep it watertight for more than one year in Shetland weather, anything that will keep it sealed for longer is likely to be messy and time consuming to apply, and will probably end up being not exactly pretty looking.

If its just where a flat roof joins a pitched one, or a wall etc that's the problem, then it may be worth fiddling with it and trying to do something with it. But if its the felt starting to go on the main flat area you're better off to replace it, either by stripping back to the wood and applying new felt, or just overlaying what you have with profile sheets of some sort, if the current construction design is suitable. Its the cheapest option in the long run, trying to patch up a flat felt roof is just an expensive and time consuming way of delaying the inevitable.

or you could paint it with sovereign k10 depending on how knackered the felt is would depend on how thick you would spread it, it wont last 10 years but probaly wont be far away as said the best thing to do would be to replace it how big is the roof anyway?
