Sudden Stop
Anyone using this or have any idea how to? I installed it with the intention of playing around with it but, my lord it looks complex. I figured it'd be a bit like Photoshop - just trial and error. I figured wrong! I'm a little intimidated...
EM
Blender is certainly a most admirable 3D modeller, but it is probably not the best choice for someone starting out in 3D. In terms of ease of use, and simple learning curve, SketchUp is hard to top. It was until recently Google SketchUp and available in both free and Pro versions. Its development has now been taken over by Trimble with the same versions. Where the free version of SketchUp will become lacking for users is in the area of file import and export. At that time migrating to Blender will be appropriate. http://sketchup.google.com/intl/en/product/gsu.html
Sudden Stop
^^^ Now that's more like it. I've downloaded and started using Sketchup and it's soooo much simplier! Thanks for that EM.
