anthropos Posted July 18, 2012 Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 Hello Everyone, I'm an anthropologist from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) currently conducting research on the Shetland dialect in Bressay. I'm not so much interested in compiling a dictionary or wordlists as that has already been done. Rather, I'm interested in hearing about people's use of the dialect and how the dialect relates to their life histories. Currently, I am looking for some individuals, who would be interested in being interviewed on a semi-regular basis. If you're interested, please feel free to PM me.
