Great thread, lets see how long we can keep it for.

I agree with most of the comments above also. far too much negativity surrounding local shops when actually quite a lot of them do very well considering. If we don't use them we'll lose them!

I always find the staff in Tesco very friendly and accommodating. If I want to know where anything is on the shelves, I ask anyone (not on the till)working there and they always walk me to the appropriate section.
Almost too good. I find asking someone who is obviously busy about where I can find something and they take me rather that just telling me a bit embarrassing. But know where most things are anyway........until head office decides to move things again.

I think it is Tesco policy for staff to walk you to where things are. They have done it here for the past 20 years. So don't be embarrassed - it's their job to be helpful :).

................Its made me think twice about my attitude.

Good to see positive comments for a change. :D

:lik: both of these comment.

More people need to check/reflect on THEIR attitudes I feel, It's all to easy to come on here with the usual "what a terrible attitude the staff in that shop have" etc etc etc..........Just because you get told something you don't want to hear doesn't mean you are getting attitude

The lovely boys at ITS (next to what was Smith and Harpers) eased my considerable frustration and prevented me committing violence, by giving my laptop a good seeing to. £60 well spent, highly recommended if you are suffering a chuggy computer.
