tojo Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 We had to use gott kennels at short notice. The lass that took our dog was very friendly, our dog seemed to have a good holiday! I would use them again. There is someone on facebook classifieds pet section that has offered her home for pets and seems highly recommended, not sure her name? check that out or put a wanted there? Hector's House Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Gwen at Gott is lovely - my dogs see it as a complete lark to go there! I've dealt with supposedly respectable kennels down south that my dogs have come away from filthy and terrified, obviously intimidated for not "behaving". You can't fool a dog into being happy, so I'd happily recommend Gott. The only alternative would be having a house-sitter, perhaps a trusted older teenager looking for a bit of extra holiday cash and some quality time away from the family?
